If you are handing them out at an event, what matters is that they are lightweight, easy to stack and have a clean front area for the logo. This is where conference bags and simple document bags fit best, usually in polyester or non-woven fabric, with screen printing or transfer on one side.
The typical mistake is ordering a padded laptop bag for a one-day event. It is bulkier than you need and takes up more space when handing them out. Also check how the flap closes: if the handle or buckle covers the front, the logo loses visibility alongside the rest of your event merchandise.

When the bag goes into meetings or is used by a sales team, the finish shows. This is where more structured bags and some smarter branded laptop cases work well, with travel-friendly details, more understated fabrics and discreet branding such as embroidery, a PU badge or debossing on synthetic leather.
