If the campaign needs to say more about the material, it is worth moving up a level and looking at caps in recycled cotton or other recycled fabrics. For logos with lots of detail or gradients, do not force very fine embroidery: a printed patch will handle it better. And if the cap is for everyday wear, keep the design small; on headwear, that discreet size is what gets the item worn out and about instead of left in a drawer.
