Promotional gadgets for business: what they cost and which to choose for each use
A gadget costs from CHF 3.55 per unit, with branding included on those that allow it. In this category, the same device will not suit a travelling team, a convention award or a client gift: the use, the branding method and what matters on the product page all change. Here you can see today’s prices, real examples for each situation and the key points to help you order with confidence.
How much do custom tech gadgets cost?
Unit price with your logo in one colour in the standard print area, excluding VAT and delivery. The more units you order, the lower the price becomes because the branding setup is spread across the full order.

For travelling teams and useful gifts
This is where gadgets that solve a real problem away from the office fit best: tracking tags and cards, or a padlock with a locator. They are compact items, with discreet branding on one side using UV print, laser engraving or a resin dome, and they make sense when the gift is likely to end up in a suitcase or wallet.
The usual mistake is to think only about the logo and not about compatibility. On the product page, check which phones it works with, the battery type and whether the device can be branded or is supplied without a logo. If you want something focused on keeping track of belongings, you can also look at custom item finders.

When the aim is to surprise a small group, branded gadgets for personal use work best: mini projectors, cameras or drones. In this range, the user experience matters more than the size of the branding area, which is usually a small spot on the front or side applied with UV print, pad printing or a resin dome.
Before you decide, check what affects real use: resolution, connections, sensors or accessories. And if it uses an app or pairs with a phone, ask for a sample to check the language options and ease of use; with these devices, it usually prevents more mistakes than debating the logo colour.

If the gift is for an important client or senior management, it is best to choose corporate gadgets that feel like a present rather than a promotional item. A digital writing set, a premium projector or a camera with a better finish can take a small, clean logo, usually in UV print, laser engraving or on the box lid.
Here, discreet branding works better. A long name or a complex logo competes with the design of the device and is harder to read in small areas; a symbol or shortened version is usually better. If the main use will be listening to music or taking calls, look instead at custom bluetooth speakers or custom headphones.

How each type of gadget is branded
| Type of gadget | Technique | How the logo looks |
|---|---|---|
| Plastic projectors, drones and cameras | UV digital print or resin dome | Full colour; the resin adds a glossy raised finish and protects the print |
| Drones and devices with a curved area | Pad printing | Simple logo in one or two colours, clear in small spaces |
| Padlocks and other metal items | Laser engraving | Discreet and permanent, in the tone of the material itself |
| Digital writing set | Hot stamping, screen printing or UV print | On the notebook cover, visible without touching the device |
Minimum order and design
The minimum order is CHF 91.65 excluding VAT per quote, and you can mix models to reach it: a travel tracking tag and a projector for a client can go in the same order. The prices on this page are per unit, with your logo in one colour in the standard print area, excluding VAT and delivery; other branding options are adjusted in the quote.
Upload your logo on the product page and see the price straight away, or ask for a free full-size mock-up: you pay when you approve it. The delivery time is shown on each product page. With these devices, ordering samples helps you check the app, usability and finish before production.
